Shipping Load Detail Description

This article contains a detailed description of each tab of information about a shipping Load.

The truck graphic shows you the footage amount and load/drop/pickup order for the orders that are included on the load.

General Information

  • Load #: A system generated identifier for the load
  • Load Name: A load name label to identify the load
  • Ship Date: Scheduled shipping date
  • Sales Rep: Auto populates if load is created from a sales order, but can be manually selected from the drop down
  • Pieces: Number of individual items on the load which autopopulates based on orders on the load
  • Shipping Units: Number of shipping units contained in the load which is auto-populated based on Qty Per Shipping Unit set in the Item Sizes Library
  • Net: Combined total dollar value from all the items on the load
  • Footage: Estimated total linear feet the load will take up on the truck
  • Freight: Total dollar amount for freight charges from orders on the load
  • Weight: Estimated weight for the load calculated using your own weight measurements from the Item Sizes Library
  • Freight Paid By: Select whether the Shipper, Recipient or a Third Party will pay shipping costs

Load Status

Toggle the selection to update the status of the load.

  • Open: Load is built and scheduled but waiting to be picked and loaded
  • Loading: Load that is being actively loaded
  • Departed: Load that has left the property
  • Completed: Load that has left and all necessary paperwork has been prepared

Pulling & Loading Information

  • Loading Dock: Selected from the list of all locations with L:ocation Type set to "Shipping"; click on to auto-assign based on where the locations items will be pulled from
  • Picked by: Employee(s) who picked these items
  • Picked by note: You may enter a note here about picking
  • Picking Time (hours): Total time spent picking the items on this load
  • Load date/time: Date and time that loading was completed
  • Load Time (hours): Total time spent loading the truck
  • Loaded by note: You may enter a note here about loading
  • Loaded by: Employee(s) who loaded the truck
