Void a sales order

You can void a sales order to remove it from the sales order list. You can only void an open sales order, so you must first unpost any posted orders. Voided orders can not be accessed after voiding.

Note: If this order is the original order with other split-off orders, it can not be voided. Instead the order can only be zeroed out and posted with no items on it.

1. Navigate to Sales, then Sales Order.
2. Select the order to void from the list in the left pane.
3. Click on Void Order in the taskbar.
4. Enter a reason in the popup window, then click Void.
