"System" as a ready date?

What is the “System” ready date?​

The ready date “System” is the quantity of all inventory of a specific item size including all ready dates. This option is only available for allocation on master orders.

When to use the “System” ready date​

When allocating on a master order, some nurseries may choose to use the “System” ready date for the following reasons:

  1. You don’t know yet which ready dates will be included on this master order.
  2. You will be selling from multiple ready dates for that item.
  3. You are not concerned about which ready date to use for the order yet.
  4. You are waiting for your plants to mature until they can be graded and assigned a ready date.

Note: If you want to remove allocated items from “System” to a specific ready date, you must first remove the quantity from the “System” and then add it to the ready date of your choice.
