Release a sales order from a master order

When using a master order, you will be releasing groups of items to sales orders before the master order is complete. Here is how to create a sales order from released master order items.

1. Navigate to your master order.
2. Click on the Show Release SO tab above the item list.
3. Enter the quantity of each item to be released, then hit Enter.
4. Click Pre-Release in the taskbar. A pre-release window will appear.
5. Choose from the drop-down menu if you want to create a new sales order for these items or add them to an existing open sales order.
6. Review and confirm the “Ship Date”, “Ship To” address, and items to be released.
7. Allocate items to specific locations by clicking the to the left of each time and entering amounts in the “Alloc. Qty” column.
8. Click the Release to SO button.
9. Click Yes to confirm.
