Complete a sales order after it's been released from a master order

After you have released a sales order from a master order, here are the steps to follow with the sales order.

Note: Before you can complete these steps, you must first release items onto a sales order from the master order.

  1. Navigate to sales section icon Sales, then sales order icon Sales Order.
  2. Select your order from the list in the left pane. Orders released from a master order will start with MO in the order #.
  3. Review the information on the sales order, see a detailed sales order description for a description of each part of the sales order.
  4. You may choose to add more items to this sales order that were not on the master order.
  5. Click on the to the left of each item to review the automatic allocation or manually allocate the items on the sales order.
  6. You can print sales order reports for yourself or the customer.
  7. After the order is complete, you will post the order and transfer it to the Quickbooks queue.
