Allocate to projected crops

You can allocate directly to projected crops on sales orders. On projected crops, “Projection” is set at that crop’s location.

Note: Items added to a sales order as a projection will need to be changed from a projection to actual inventory before posting the sales order.

  1. Navigate to your sales order.
  2. Click items tab Add Items in the taskbar, then choose Add item icon Add Items to Order.
  3. Use the search bar to find the correct item.
  4. Click on the to the left of the item name.
  5. Find the crop with the location “Projection”, then add the amount desired to the “Enter Qty” column.
  6. Hit Enter to move the items onto the sales order.

Tip: On master orders you can only allocate to a ready date which may include a projected crop but would also include other crops of the same item with the same ready date, regardless of the location.
