Add items to a credit memo from a previous order

You can credit the value of items from a previous sales order with a customer by adding those items to a credit memo.

  1. Find an existing credit memo or create a new credit memo.
  2. Click on item icon Add Items in the taskbar.
  3. Choose move items icon Add Items to Credit From Invoice.
  4. Click on an existing order in the pop-up window, then hit Select.
  5. You will see a list of items from the order in the left pane. Click into the Enter Qty column and enter a number of items to move to the credit memo.
  6. Hit Enter to add those items to the credit memo

Tip: You can also add other inventory items to a credit memo by clicking item icon Add Items in the taskbar, then Add item icon Add Items to Credit Memo. Then select and add quantities of items using the left pane.
