Add items to a credit memo from a previous order
You can credit the value of items from a previous sales order with a customer by adding those items to a credit memo.
- Find an existing credit memo or create a new credit memo.
- Click on
Add Items in the taskbar.
- Choose
Add Items to Credit From Invoice.
- Click on an existing order in the pop-up window, then hit Select.
- You will see a list of items from the order in the left pane. Click into the Enter Qty column and enter a number of items to move to the credit memo.
- Hit Enter to add those items to the credit memo
Tip: You can also add other inventory items to a credit memo by clicking Add Items in the taskbar, then
Add Items to Credit Memo. Then select and add quantities of items using the left pane.
