How reorder points work

This is part of the Purchasing Add-on Module

You can create a reorder point for each item. When the reorder point is reached, that item will appear on a list when adding new items to a purchase order.

To set up a reorder point for an item, do the following.

  1. Navigate to Inventory Icon Inventory, then Master Items & Sizes Library Icon Master Items and Sizes.
  2. In the left pane, click into the Item Sizes tab.
  3. Search for the correct item, double click on it to show details in the right pane.
  4. Click on the Purchasing tab.
  5. Fill out the following
    1. Reorder Point: Choose a quantity that, when reached, would be a good time to reorder. When this reorder point quantity is reached, eGrow Connect will add it to a list of items that have reached their reorder points. This list can be viewed when adding new items to a purchase order.
    2. Reorder Quantity: Amount that is typically reordered
