Landed Cost explanation

Landed Cost is the cost of a purchased item with the shipping and other costs included. eGrow Connect allows you to select different ways of calculating Landed Cost.

Tip: You can change the default Landed Cost Distribution on purchase orders in system setup logo System Setup > Company Preferences > Purchasing.

  1. Navigate to your purchase order.
  2. Enter the Freight and Other costs of the overall order in the financial summary table to the right.
  3. Find the Landed Cost Distribution selector and choose between the options:
    1. By Value: Additional costs will be distributed more to more expensive plants.
    2. By Volume: Additional costs will be distributed more to plants that take up more space on the truck.
    3. Weight: Additional costs will be distributed more to plants with a higher weight.
