Mobile App: Plant Inventory

You can add crops to the inventory directly from your phone using the Plant transaction.

Note: Before you can add items using Plant, they must first be added to the Master Items and Sizes Library on the desktop version.

  1. Click on plant inventory icon Plant Inventory.
  2. Use the search bar to find the correct item, click on it.
  3. Complete each available field for the item. See descriptions of the fields below.
  4. When finished, click Plant in the upper-right corner.

Plant Entry Field Descriptions

  • Produced From: Select the method used for propagating this new item
  • Date Planted*: Defaults to today's date, but can be changed by clicking in the cell
  • Quantity: Number of new plants being added
  • Ready: Estimated date this crop will be ready to sell
  • Location: Place where items can be found
  • Bed: Sublocation within the location (section, lateral, sprinkler #, etc.)
  • Lot ID: Lot-Tracking Add-On Module Create a unique ID for tracking this specific crop throughout the system
  • Cost: If Growing Cost is specified in the Item Sizes Library, that amount will be populated here by default, but you can override that cost if needed.
  • Reason: Notes, if any, about the reason for planting
  • Customer: Purchasing Add-on Module Only If the entire crop is reserved for a single customer, enter their name here
  • On Availability: A yes designation identifies that a crop is ready to be sold and should be listed on the availability.
  • Spacing Type: P2P mans pot to pot, can tight; S means spaced
  • Comment: Notes, if any, about the crop
  • Grade: Quality of the crop
