Turn projections into actual inventory

To turn projected quantities into actual inventory, you will need to follow the steps below.

1. Add the actual quantity acquired into inventory using either the Plant or Purchase transactions.
2. Return to your projection(s) and reduce the quantity by the amount that was added to inventory and hit Enter.
3. Click on the item's Short Name to open the Product Status page and open the All Sales Orders tab in the bottom section. Click on the symbol next to any orders which show allocated to the projection and adjust the allocation manually to another inventory location.

Once projected quantity is set to zero and there are no order allocations, then the projection record will be removed. Note that if you reduce projected quantity without reallocating, it will result in a negative Available quantity.
