Create or change an availability template

Some growers publish multiple different versions of their availability for different customers like landscapers and garden centers. eGrow Connect makes it easy to configure separate templates for each availability that can save you work creating multiple availabilities by hand. eGrow Connect allows users to create up to 10 different availability templates.

Add or change an availability template name​

  1. Navigate to system setup logo System Setup > Inventory Tracking > Availability Template.
  2. Click on the template title that you want to change and type the new template name.
  3. Hit Enter to save the change.

Adjust the filter on an availability template​

  1. Navigate to Inventory Icon Inventory, then availability icon Availabilities.
  2. Choose an availability template from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the tab "Set Filter for..."
  4. Note: The "Ready Dates" filter *must* be set, but for all other filters if nothing is selected then by default everything is included.
  5. Make adjustments to your availability filter by including and/or excluding items. A description of each availability filter option is below.
  6. When your filter is set up correctly, click save icon Save Filter on the taskbar.

Availability filter option detail description​

Filter options with * are required.

  • Include Crops: Toggle for "All" crops or only those with "On Availability" checked yes.
  • Qty Available >=: Change this number to only include crops with quantities of a certain number.
  • Pre-Pricing Group: Select a pre-pricing group for the availability.
  • Select Ready Dates*: Ready Dates in the left column are included on the availability, those in the right column are not.
  • Select Locations: Locations in the left column are included, those on the right are not. Click Remove All filters to include all locations.
  • Select Sizes: Items Sizes in the left column are included, those on the right are not. Click Remove All filters to include all item sizes.
  • Select Fields: Choose any number of filters from the drop-down menus for Category, Item Type, Brand, Hardiness Zone, and Grade. If left empty, all items will be included.

(For Picture Availabilities only)

  • Image Selection: Toggle if you want the most recent photo or the starred photo to appear.
  • Pricing Group: Choose a pricing group for the availability.
  • Excluded Items: A list of items which have been excluded from the picture availability.
